2 Feb 2024 We visited the Global Science Festival Kerala, organized by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) and Amuseum ArtScience, held at the Bio 360 Life Sciences Park, Thonnakkal, Thiruvananthapuram. The festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, he described it as a curated event “that explores science through art.”  The month-long event featured themed science exhibitions, talks and public lectures, interactions with NASA and ISRO scientists, workshops and events for children, as well as outreach programs. Major highlights included the Seeds of Culture Exhibition, Energy in Transition, Molecular Animation by artist Drew Berry, and a Water Matters expo by the U.S. Consulate General. Other notable attractions were a replica of the ship HMS Beagle, a digital experience of the International Space Station, and moon and Mars installations by Luke Jerram.  In conclusion, it was a truly insightful experience for us.
