The third day of our camp began with a calming yoga practice. Since it was September 5th, we celebrated Teacher’s Day during the morning assembly, honoring the contributions of our educators.  After the assembly, we departed for our field trip to the Kerala Arts and Crafts Village in Kovalam. The village offered us a fascinating glimpse into the rich spectrum of Kerala's traditional arts and crafts. We not only had the opportunity to purchase handmade products but also observed the intricate process of creating them. In the afternoon, we visited the nearby lighthouse and later headed to the beach. Unfortunately, due to extreme seashore erosion and rough seas, the beach was fenced off, and no one was allowed to step into the water. Although we were disappointed by this, we still enjoyed our time at the lighthouse. We returned to the college by 7:00 PM, followed by dinner and our daily review meeting. The day concluded at 10:30 PM as we headed to bed. From the arts and crafts ...

Our second day began early with an energetic Zumba session at 6:00 AM. By 9:00 AM, everyone gathered for the morning assembly. Group One took the lead and organized a cloth bag-making session, where students sewed their own bags using thread and needle. The goal of the activity was to distribute these cloth bags among the local community as part of our initiative to reduce plastic usage. In the afternoon, we conducted fieldwork, visiting nearby houses to survey the extent of plastic usage and assess the impact of local initiatives like "Harithakarma Sena" in reducing it. After completing the survey, we gathered at the nearby beach to relax and have some fun. The day's review meeting took place at 9:00 PM, and we dispersed to our rooms by 10:30 PM, bringing an end to another fulfilling day.
