 40th Day of School Internship

School: St. Joseph’s HSS, Palayam


Today marked the 40th and final day of Phase 1 of our school internship at St. Joseph’s HSS, Palayam. The day began as usual with the morning assembly, where students and teachers gathered for prayers and announcements. Following the assembly, we proceeded with our regular classes, ensuring that lessons were delivered effectively and that students were engaged in the learning process.


During the sessions, we focused on completing the planned topics and revising key concepts to consolidate students’ understanding. The students were attentive and cooperative, making the classes productive and fulfilling. The usual school activities, including serving the midday meal, were carried out smoothly with the support of all trainees.


Although it was a regular day in structure, it carried a sense of accomplishment and reflection as it marked the conclusion of an enriching phase of our journey. The rapport built with students, teachers, and the school community over these 40 days made the experience invaluable.


We left the school with gratitude for the opportunity to teach and learn in a supportive environment, eagerly looking forward to applying these experiences in the next phase of our internship.

 5 June 2024  The World Environment Day celebration was held at our college, with this year's theme focusing on Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience. Our college's Eco Club organized an Environment Day Awareness Rally, followed by the official inauguration of the events. The program was inaugurated by Mr. Anand Justin, IFS. During his talk, Mr. Justin shared valuable insights on environmental conservation and the various ecosystems around the world. One key point he emphasized was that not all ecosystems are green. While many people associate environmental conservation with preserving green spaces, he highlighted the diversity of ecosystems that also need attention. Additionally, he spoke about the importance of raising proper awareness about environmental issues before taking action. In short, the event was an enlightening experience for all of us.

19 January 2024 Mahakavi Kumaran Asan was a Malayalam poet, philosopher, and social reformer. The year 2024 marks his 100th death anniversary. School Internship Ends

 Our teaching practice at Government HSS Kulathoor has come to an end, leaving us with a wealth of practical experience. Throughout this journey, we encountered both good and challenging moments, each contributing to our growth as educators. The experience enhanced our teaching skills, classroom management abilities, and overall confidence in handling students. We are deeply grateful to the school staff, teachers, and everyone who supported us, especially the students, whose enthusiasm and cooperation made our learning process even more meaningful. This internship has been an invaluable stepping stone in our journey toward becoming skilled and compassionate educators.
